Friends & God

This past weekend was an emotional weekend for me! I am very blessed to have friends who love and care for me! I have been exposed to a new kind of light in God, a kind of light that you would never imagine! My friends have helped me to realize that I may me in the gutters of my life but I can look to God for my healing! God has made a way for me and I know he has a plan no matter what I do he will lead me to the right place, as long as I ask and want him to. I have been to a point in my life where God has lifted my soul using not only friends but music that glorifies him! God has led me to the greatest thing ever...PEACE! Peace gives me strength, God uses many people and things to lead me closer to him! I can never EVER get enough of GOD! He has given me faith and strength to never give up and to always look towards him! I will never give up on God he is my rock and the one I call on when I am on my knees just wailing! He can always help he is holy! He is the ONE and ONLY that true God! He is different, he is EXTRAVAGANT! He has the power to stop a storm, to calm us, to hold the universe in his hands! He is special and different he is loving and has a way of showing you his love in a way a human can never express it! He has power you could never think of! God is AMAZING and UNCHANGING! Believe in him because he is real!!  

What about the songs?

So, what about God? and what about the songs about him? Well God has many songs we use to praise him! And Each and every one of us has a special way of praising God, either it be singing or giving! The song I sang this morning was, Washed by the Water - NeedtoBreathe. I love this song, it tells the story of God and his never failing love. He has never left us and never will. God is amazing never doubt him! I am working my way up to being a better singer and a better spiritual person!

A little about me first...

My name is Marcey, I am 13 years old. I have many joys in life that includes spending time with my family and many sports and most of all praising God! I haven't lived a very long life but I sure know how it is to lose people you love and to go through not knowing if a person who has been there your whole life is going to make it. I have faced many troubles, but God has seen me through it! God has NEVER left my side during this journey of my life. He has never let me down. God has givin me a gift to reach out to people to not be afraid to share his word. I WANT God to shine in me, I want him to save other people and help them through their trials that they go through. God will NEVER leave you, he is always there even if you crying out in the mid of night. You may be thinking right now, this girl is just 13 how does she know anything about God, well to be honest God has allowed me to be mature and to learn from all this pain that I've gone through. God has a plan for me and I have to believe that is a good plan. God may want me singing and sharing his word worldwide or just to be in a small church. I know God can not only be each and everyone of you, just ask he will help you through it. God is amazing don't doubt him!
